Job Opportunity

A dynamic practice manager is required to oversee the operations of a growing consultancy. This senior support role reports directly to the directors and is responsible for managing business functions that enable project teams to deliver.

The successful candidate will be an organised and proactive professional who thrives in a busy environment. They will have:

  • At least 5 years' experience in practice, office, or business management
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, management, or related disciplines preferred
  • Strong financial management and reporting skills with experience using accounting software
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience managing HR processes and compliance frameworks
  • Strong MS Office skills and adaptability with new systems

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Overseeing financial operations including invoicing, payroll, accounts, and reporting
  • Managing HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, and staff records
  • Supporting business development through fee proposals, tenders, and networking activities
  • Implementing and maintaining the consultancy's Integrated Management Systems (Quality, WHS, Environmental)
  • Providing executive assistance support to directors, including scheduling and correspondence
  • Managing office operations and contributing to governance and compliance activities

As a highly skilled and experienced practice manager, you will bring a range of skills and qualifications to this role. These may include:

  • Proven experience in practice, office, or business management
  • Strong financial management and reporting skills
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience managing HR processes and compliance frameworks
  • Strong MS Office skills and adaptability with new systems
