Job Title: Home Care Support Worker

This role involves providing support and assistance to community members in need of daily help with domestic tasks, meal preparation, transportation, and social activities.

  • Domestic Assistance:
    • Cleaning and laundry
    • Dusting and tidying
  • Shopping:
    • Assisting with grocery shopping
    • Helping with online shopping
  • Meal Preparation:
    • Preparing meals for clients
    • Helping with meal planning
  • Transportation:
    • Driving clients to appointments
    • Providing transportation for errands
  • Social Activities:
    • Accompanying clients to events
    • Participating in recreational activities
  • Respite:
    • Providing short breaks for carers
    • Offering respite care services

The ideal candidate will have a caring attitude, be reliable and willing to learn. They should also possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Have a great attitude towards helping others
  • Be reliable and able to commit to regular shifts
  • Ability to pass a National Police Check
  • Hold a current VIC driver's licence
  • Have access to a reliable, registered vehicle with full comprehensive insurance
  • Regular availability is essential
