Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team in providing high-quality care to individuals in their own homes.

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for assisting clients with daily tasks as outlined in their personalized care plans.

This may include activities such as personal care assistance, providing emotional support, observing/reporting any changes or concerns, documenting client interactions, and supporting the clients' social and recreational needs.

About the Role:

  • You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and their families to ensure tailored support.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.

Key Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Aged Care/Home and Community Care
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in health/aged care/community services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible approach to working varying shifts

Essential Documents:

  • 100 points of identification (including Certificate Level III, Current First Aid Certificate, Manual Handling completion, Current Police check, Current Working with Vulnerable People Registration, Current driver's license, Appropriate visa, Mobile Phone)

Working Conditions:

  • Varying shifts, including morning, afternoon, and evening shifts
  • Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays
