Job Description:

The Community Engagement and Communications Specialist plays a pivotal role in implementing community and stakeholder engagement plans for Greenfield Projects. These projects involve master planning, infrastructure design, facilities construction, and site activation.

Key responsibilities include developing strategic community and stakeholder engagement frameworks aligned to the organisation's strategic plan. The specialist will lead the implementation of annual community and stakeholder engagement plans for Greenfields projects, attending quarterly Community Advisory Committee Meetings to ensure accurate representation.

Content development, digital asset management, and success criteria reporting are also key aspects of this position.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A tertiary qualification in a related discipline
  • Demonstrated community/stakeholder engagement experience (minimum 3 years)
  • IAP2 Certification
  • Qualifications and/or demonstratable experience in communications and project management
  • Ability to implement multi-initiative engagement plans involving diverse stakeholders/communities
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Cultural and political awareness and sensitivity
