Drive strategic procurement, lead high-value supplier negotiations, and influence commercial decisions with a Senior Procurement Specialist role. This permanent, full-time position is ideal for a commercially savvy procurement professional with strong leadership in supplier negotiations, strategic sourcing, and stakeholder engagement across diverse spend categories.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading high-value contract negotiations to secure optimal commercial outcomes and long-term supplier partnerships
  • Managing end-to-end procurement activities, including strategy development, tenders, negotiations, contract execution, and lifecycle management
  • Developing and implementing procurement strategies that deliver measurable value through cost savings, risk mitigation, and supplier consolidation
  • Partnering with internal stakeholders to influence decisions and ensure procurement supports business objectives
  • Building and managing strategic supplier relationships to drive performance, quality, compliance, and continuous improvement
  • Providing commercial insights by analysing spend, pricing trends, and procurement budgets to support informed decision-making
  • Championing best practice procurement processes, governance, and supplier engagement, embedding a culture of continuous improvement
  • Maintaining accurate procurement systems and documentation, including SAP data, contract registers, and compliance records

You will take ownership of a portfolio of spend categories and procurement initiatives that support both operational and strategic goals. You'll be responsible for leading end-to-end procurement processes, driving cost and risk reduction through negotiations, and building strong, collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A tertiary qualification in Business, Supply Chain, or Procurement
  • 5+ years' experience in a procurement specialist role, with strong expertise in strategic sourcing, negotiations, and contract management
  • Experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment
  • Experience managing diverse spend categories
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver commercial outcomes, cost savings, and value-add initiatives
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with experience managing complex supplier relationships
  • Commercially minded with a practical approach - someone who can make informed decisions and drive results
