About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Surface Mechanical Planner to join our team. As part of this role, you will be responsible for optimising the scheduling and planning of work orders for maintenance centres and resources assigned.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • ">
  • Developing scores of work in conjunction with execution teams to ensure work is well designed;">
  • Completing detailed planning of maintenance tasks and shutdowns with input/support from Maintenance Engineers;">
  • Enabling execution of maintenance activities in collaboration with maintenance crews, contracting partners, and production departments to the specified plan and timelines;">
  • Developing and coordinating rolling maintenance schedules in accordance with 1SAP Work Management processes.">

About You

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following areas:

  • ">
  • Self-reliant contributor with good attention to detail and a desire for continuous improvement;">
  • Significant planning/scheduling experience working in mining or heavy industry - surface/underground coal preferable;">
  • Proficient in SAP, and Microsoft suite of software;">
  • Ability to effectively communicate and influence across various levels of the business.">

Qualifications for This Position Are:

Tertiary / Trade qualification in a relevant Engineering field; Frontline management qualification (desired).
