Job Summary:

Anton Murray Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Trade Support Specialist to join our Investment Banking team. As a Trade Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our traders in Equity Options trading.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between traders and other dealers, brokers to ensure seamless trading operations
  • Execute orders per the request of traders, operations, and external Prime Brokers to maintain trading system parity
  • Compile and reconcile data from electronic trades to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Examine electronic transactions generated from clearing firms to identify and resolve errors
  • Resolve erroneous and broken trades to minimize losses and maintain trading integrity
  • Assist with maintaining position, P&L, and information exchange to ensure timely and accurate reporting
  • Update and manage all post computer screens, including exchange trading systems, proprietary trading applications, and Excel spreadsheets

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably in Equity Options trading
  • Thorough knowledge of Equity Options corporate actions, equity derivatives, and trading systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel, and ideally Python, VBA, SQL, and advanced Excel skills
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter, quick learner, and resourceful in solving problems
  • Ability to move throughout the trading floor as needed
  • Maintain composure under pressure
