As an ETF Trader Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting a high-performing team of traders, providing exceptional support and ensuring the smooth operation of our trading activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as liaison between desk traders and other dealers, brokers, and external Prime Brokers to ensure trading system parity.
  • Execute orders per the request of traders, working closely with ETF traders, operations, and external Prime Brokers to resolve any issues.
  • Compile and reconcile data from electronic trades, examining electronic transactions generated from clearing firms to ensure accuracy.
  • Resolve erroneous and broken trades, maintaining position, P&L, and information exchange.
  • Update and manage all post computer screens, including exchange trading systems, proprietary trading applications, and Excel spreadsheets.

Requirements:

  • 3 years' previous experience in the financial services industry, with a strong understanding of equities and ETFs, corporate actions, and equity derivatives.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel, with proficiency in Python, VBA, SQL, and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization, and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and a self-starter with a quick learning ability and resourcefulness in solving problems.
