Job Summary:

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an ETF Trader Support Specialist. This role will provide direct support to a high-performing team of traders, focusing on ETFs.

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented individual with a strong background in financial services, specifically in trade support, operations, or middle office roles. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience working with ETFs and a good understanding of corporate actions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between desk traders and other dealers, brokers, and external Prime Brokers to ensure trading system parity.
  • Execute orders per the request of traders and work with ETF traders, operations, and external Prime Brokers to ensure seamless trading.
  • Compile and reconcile data from electronic trades, examine electronic transactions generated from clearing firms, and resolve erroneous and broken trades.
  • Assist with maintaining position, P&L, and information exchange, and update and manage all post computer screens, including exchange trading systems, proprietary trading applications, and Excel spreadsheets.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of previous experience in the financial services industry, with a completion of finance/investment-related coursework a plus.
  • Thorough knowledge of equities and ETFs, corporate actions, and equity derivatives.
  • Mandarin language skills would be beneficial.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel, and ideally Python, VBA, SQL, and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to maintain composure under pressure and move throughout the trading floor as needed.
