Job Description:

The Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing the beverage program and supplier management at a hotel or resort. This role drives talent and guest satisfaction, as well as revenue and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and execute beverage programs and menus.
  • Manage compliance with local, state, and federal labor, beverage, and liquor laws.
  • Understand beverage control, including days on hand, perpetual inventory, bar pars, portion control, costs control, beverage potentials, sales mix analysis, issue & returns, beverage & food safety standards, inventories, and financial spot checks.
  • Comprehend budgets, operating statements, and payroll progress reports to assist in financial management of the department.
