About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Early Childhood Educator to join our team at a leading boutique childcare centre in Sydney Corporate Park, Alexandria.

As an Educator in the Preschool Room with children aged 4-5, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Create a safe and engaging learning environment: Set up the classroom to encourage exploration and learning, maintaining a safe space that fosters play, discovery, and growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues: Work closely with other educators, support staff, and administrators to ensure the smooth running of the preschool program. Share ideas, resources, and support each other in creating a positive learning environment.
  • Assess and document children's progress: Observe and assess children's development and learning through daily interactions, play, and formal assessments. Document children's progress and communicate with parents about their child's growth and development.

The successful candidate will have a Certificate 3 or Diploma in Early Childhood Education or working towards (or ACECQA equivalent), experience working with infants in an Early Childhood setting, and a sound understanding of National Education and Care Services. A Working With Children Check number and two professional references from most recent employer are also required.
