About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Room Educator/ECT to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate programs for children in the Preschool age group.

As an Early Childhood Education Specialist, you will develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. You will observe and assess children's development, ensuring a safe and stimulating learning environment for children.

The successful applicant must be available for full-time hours across 5 days and confident to develop positive relationships with the children, educators, and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement engaging educational programs for Preschool-age children.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Observe and assess children's development, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment that supports children's growth and development.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor in Early Childhood Teaching or Diploma/Cert 3 in ECE (or an ACECQA equivalent).
  • Experience in working with children aged 3-5 years in a preschool setting (1 year and above is desirable).
  • Current Working with Children Check and relevant certifications (First Aid, CPR, Child Protection, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis).
