Rehabilitation Consultant Role

We are seeking a dedicated Rehabilitation Consultant to join our multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals. This individual will play a vital role in providing workplace rehabilitation services to help build better lives through work and health.

This role is part of our Regional Team, working predominantly in the Wodonga/Wangaratta region. As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will be responsible for conducting worksite, functional, ergonomic, equipment, and home assessments. You will also identify Return to Work (RTW) barriers, liaise with clients, insurers, medical practitioners, and employers to achieve outcomes appropriate for all parties, and design, implement, and monitor programs that assist injured employees to return to the workforce.

About the Role
  • Conduct thorough assessments of worksites, identifying potential hazards and developing strategies to mitigate risks
  • Determine suitable workplace modifications to enable employees to safely perform their duties
  • Develop and implement effective return-to-work plans tailored to each employee's needs

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a strong understanding of workplace health and safety principles.
