Maritime Infrastructure DeveloperThe Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Coastal Engineer to join our National Maritime Team. As a key member of our team, you will be involved in the design and planning of large-scale maritime facilities for various industries.

You will leverage your coastal engineering experience to deliver concepts through construction support, with opportunities to grow leadership and business development skills through project management and proposal tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • Leverage coastal engineering expertise (modelling, dredging, coastal protection) to deliver concepts through construction support.
  • Contribute to design and planning for large-scale maritime facilities across multiple industries.
  • Assist with project management and proposal tasks to support business development.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with skills in design, evaluation, and reporting on ports, harbours, coastal works, and marine structures.
  • Experience or interest in coastal modelling software (desirable: DELFT-3D, SWAN, MIKE).
  • Familiarity with Australian design codes and guidelines.
  • Working towards Chartered Professional Engineer credentials.
  • Tertiary degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Eligibility for Australian Government security clearance.
