The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Lawyer with 4+ years of post-admission experience to join our corporate team in Melbourne. This role will involve working closely with experienced Partners who specialize in mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets, corporate advisory, joint ventures, commercial arrangements, restructures, and general commercial and corporate contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in M&A transactions and provide solid experience in Corporate Advisory / Mergers & Acquisitions with a mid-market focus;
- Conduct legal due diligence, including drafting due diligence reports;
- Review and draft contracts;
- Possess a willingness to take a hands-on approach as a client-focused practitioner with excellent relationship-building and communication skills;
- Understand clients' commercial needs and objectives, providing solutions to achieve these;
- Provide sound, pragmatic, and innovative legal advice to corporate clients;
- Demonstrate good contract drafting skills, legal analysis, and problem-solving skills for varied situations;
- Show excellent attention to detail, analytical skills backed by strong academics;
