We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team as we strive to provide exceptional patient care and survivorship in cancer treatment.

Job Description:

As a Casual Oncology Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality treatment services to the community. You will be responsible for delivering evidence-based, comprehensive oncology nursing care, practicing in accordance with QLD Health Legislation and ACQSHC National Standards.

Our ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy for patients and their caregivers. They will also have strong clinical and problem-solving abilities, effective care planning and coordination skills, and dedication to quality improvement and evidence-based practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality treatment services to patients
  • Practice in accordance with QLD Health Legislation and ACQSHC National Standards
  • Provide holistic nursing care and referrals for optimal patient outcomes
  • Contribute to quality improvements and collaborate with the Quality and Clinical Governance team
  • Administer medications in line with policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Current and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • 12 months of oncology experience preferred
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong clinical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective care planning and coordination skills
  • Dedication to quality improvement and evidence-based practice
