Day Oncology Nurse: A Career in Patient Care and Cancer Treatment

As a Day Oncology Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and making a difference in the lives of our patients. Your role will involve working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key aspects of your job will include:

  • Providing exceptional patient care through effective communication, empathy, and compassion.
  • Assisting in the delivery of comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services, supporting patients from initial diagnosis through every step of their cancer care.
  • Working effectively within the team to achieve common goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Certification: Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse (IV Qualified).
  • Experience: Minimum two years post-graduate experience in acute nursing.
  • Skills: Competent in chemotherapy administration and display proficiency in cannulation and associated treatments (desirable).
