Job Title: Aircraft Loading and Delivery Specialist

As an aircraft loading and delivery specialist, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of catering onto aircraft. This is a permanent full-time position based at our Canberra airport facility.

The main responsibilities of this role include:

Loading and Unloading Catering

- Load fully stocked aircraft trolleys onto our hi-lift trucks and drive a short distance to the aircraft.
- Guide the vehicle for safe approach and load the carts onto the aircraft.
- Work with the airline cabin crew to ensure everything is correct.

Vehicle Operations

- Perform frequent manual handling tasks while driving the vehicles.
- Refuel the vehicles as required.
- Ensure that all discrepancies are followed up on.

Communication and Documentation

- Communicate effectively with airline cabin crew and other stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate administrative documentation and reports.
- Participate in general cleaning duties as required.

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications

- MR or HR driver's license is required.
- Ability to perform frequent manual handling tasks.
- Flexibility working around flight schedules is essential.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Neat and tidy presentation is expected.
