Aircraft Governance Specialist

Are you a skilled governance specialist with experience in managing and overseeing quality management systems?

  • We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Aircraft Governance Specialist.

About this role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the planning, delivery, conduct and post audit review of flight management system audits of the Army Aviation enterprise.

  • You will work closely with the OPAW SO1/EL1 QMS Manager to develop and implement policies, processes and procedures consistent with Defence governance requirements.
  • Additionally, you will manage internal Quality Management System (QMS) documentation, including QMS Policy/Manual artefacts.
  • Another key responsibility will be developing and maintaining the Regulatory Compliance Matrix tool, ensuring appropriate audit traceability of AVNCOMD policy and procedures to applicable Defence regulations and requirements.

Key skills required:

  • Previous experience in managing and overseeing Quality Management Systems, or the ability to quickly acquire these skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the inter-dependencies between regulatory frameworks, policy and procedures.
  • In-depth knowledge of governance and record-keeping essentials.
  • Excellent attention to detail to analyse documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
