This is a dynamic role that involves delivering catering on aircraft at Canberra Airport. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks and aircraft with catering, carts, and ovens.

Key Responsibilities

  • Loading and unloading of goods in accordance with airport regulations.
  • Guiding and positioning trucks to ensure efficient operations.
  • Coordinating with airline cabin crew for servicing and delivery handover.
  • Communicating with dispatch on aircraft timings and flight delivery allocations.
  • Completing administrative documentation, reporting, and general cleaning duties as required.

Requirements

  • A valid driver's license (clean MR or HR).
  • Ability to perform manual handling tasks.
  • Adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Flexibility around flight schedules.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Neat and tidy presentation.
  • A valid National Police Check due to aviation services industry.
  • Availability to work 38 hours/week.
