Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Educational Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the academic and personal growth of gifted students.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of improving student outcomes, developing effective teaching strategies, and fostering collaborative relationships with colleagues and parents.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Evaluating and revising learning programs to meet the needs of gifted students and those from underrepresented groups.
  2. Leading professional learning opportunities to improve teaching practices and support student engagement.
  3. Implementing processes for identifying and profiling gifted learners, ensuring equitable access and support.
  4. Maintaining respectful relationships with parents, caregivers, and community representatives to support student participation.
  5. Demonstrating exemplary practice and ethical behaviour in professional dealings.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Four-year trained teacher classification with at least five years successful teaching experience and accredited at proficient level.
  • Demonstrated capacity as an effective, skilled classroom practitioner who works independently and collaboratively to improve their own practice.
  • High level interpersonal skills with the capacity to develop and sustain constructive relationships within and beyond the online learning community.
  • Demonstrated excellent organisation, communication, and ICT skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively utilise data to optimise educational outcomes.
