Gifted Education Mentor Role:

The Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle is seeking experienced educators to lead and support teachers in delivering exceptional education to high potential and gifted students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement innovative programs for high potential and gifted students
  • Mentor and support teachers in delivering exceptional education
  • Foster a culture of excellence and high achievement

Requirements:

  • A four-year trained teacher classification with at least five years successful teaching experience
  • Demonstrated capacity as an effective, skilled classroom practitioner
  • High level interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated excellent organisation, communication and ICT skills

Qualifications:

  • Qualifications as a four-year trained teacher
  • At least 5 years of teaching experience
  • Active NESA Accreditation
  • Current paid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) number
