Delivering Exceptional Language Education

At Gosford High School, we cater to high academic students in a diverse school community. Approximately 40% of our students come from language backgrounds other than English.

As a languages teacher, you will have the opportunity to develop and deliver effective teaching programs, catering to the needs of high potential and gifted students.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Implementing quality assessment practices to ensure high student achievement;
  • Developing and delivering engaging teaching programs for high potential and gifted students;
  • Capacity to work collaboratively as an effective team member.

Key Selection Criteria include:

  • Approval to teach Japanese and French with demonstrated excellence in classroom teaching Japanese and/or French to Stage 6;
  • Demonstrated capacity to implement quality assessment practices to ensure high student achievement;
  • Developing effective teaching programs that cater to the needs of high potential and gifted students.
