The Manager, Strategic Risk role involves leading the assessment and management of strategic risks aligned to our business model, risk appetite and long-term strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Defining and maintaining the enterprise strategic risk profile

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, finance, risk management or a related discipline
  • Extensive experience in strategic or enterprise risk within regulated financial services, with strong knowledge of APRA standards
  • Proven ability to operate across all three lines of defence and influence risk governance and oversight

Additionally, they will possess:

  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to translate complex risk data into clear, actionable insights
  • Experience uplifting GRC systems and embedding strategic risk into planning and decision-making
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach
