Residential Care Experience Coordinator Job
At our aged care facility in Kincumber, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our hospitality team as a Residential Care Experience Coordinator.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment and delivering personalized services for residents and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a warm and personable reception experience for residents, employees, guests, and visitors.
- Manage phone calls with a resolution-focused approach, ensuring prompt and professional service.
- Coordinate and conduct tours for prospective residents and their families, providing an exceptional first impression of our community.
- Welcome new residents and assist them in settling into their rooms, ensuring a smooth transition.
- Act as a liaison between residents, families, and all other roles within the home, fostering strong relationships and open communication.
- Utilize technology to support residents' needs, including CHL apps, communication systems, televisions, and display areas.
- Address resident feedback and complaints in a timely and effective manner, ensuring they feel heard and valued.
- Collaborate with Regional Wellbeing and Leisure Specialists to ensure offerings align with our policies and meet residents' interests.
- Coordinate and book external activities and events for the home, promoting socialization and engagement among residents.
Requirements:
- A genuine passion for delivering high-quality care and improving the lives of elderly individuals.
- Strong customer-centric approach and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with residents and families.
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks effectively.
- Confidence in a front-of-house role, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A person who enjoys engaging with others and building a sense of community.
- Hospitality or aged care experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong IT skills and the ability to demonstrate technology literacy to support residents' needs.
