Maintenance Leader

As a Maintenance Leader, you will have the opportunity to join our team and contribute to delivering high-quality services in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure optimal function and safety of facilities.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and organisational policies by conducting regular audits and reviews.
  • Lead preparation for accreditation and audits relating to facilities and infrastructure.
  • Coordinate and conduct general repairs, preventative and corrective maintenance.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate asset registers and ensure up-to-date maintenance documentation.
  • Ensure proper use, storage, and maintenance of tools, machinery, and hazardous substances.
  • Lead the development of a culture of safety, respect, and teamwork within the maintenance team.
  • Liaise with clinical and administrative staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Promote the role and function of your organisation within the local community, residents, and families.
Qualifications And Experience:
  • Trade qualification or extensive experience in a similar facilities management role.
  • Proven leadership and team coordination experience.
  • Sound understanding of building compliance, WHS, and asset management.
  • Physical ability to perform manual tasks and safely operate tools and machinery.
  • Current driver's licence.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer literacy (email, asset systems, maintenance logs).
  • Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards (desirable).
