About the Role
Icon Group is seeking a highly skilled Radiation Oncology Registrar to join our team at our Concord cancer treatment centre. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing quality medical services and participating in the delivery of a high-quality Radiation Oncology service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate with consultants and other members of the treatment team to deliver optimal patient care.
  • Keep accurate documentation of patient encounters and summary of clinical care.
  • Develop knowledge of treatment positions and techniques through simulation.
  • Collaborate with the planning team to critically evaluate treatment plans.
  • Participate in Radiation Oncology inpatient consultation services with oversight from clinical supervisors.
  • Assess and treat side effects of radiation treatment on patients.
  • Communicate effectively with relatives, nursing, allied health, and radiation therapy team members.
  • Participate in Multidisciplinary Team Meetings.

Requirements:
  • MBBS or equivalent with current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA).
  • Minimum of two years clinical experience post-graduation (PGY3+).
  • Interest in pursuing a career in radiation oncology.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate with clarity both verbally and written.
