Nurse Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Radiation Oncology team in Darlinghurst. This is a part-time or full-time opportunity for an individual with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care and working collaboratively as part of a close-knit team.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver best practice services in Radiation Oncology Nursing, ensuring patients' physical and psychological needs are met.
- Provide direct patient care, including education, wound management, and drug administration as per Practice Protocol.
- Effectively manage nursing patient load and facilitate effective lines of communication with doctors, patient services, physics, and radiation therapy staff.
- Liaise with co-located St. Vincent's Campus - Private and Public Hospital nursing staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- $50,000 - $70,000 per annum (part-time) or $80,000 - $110,000 per annum (full-time)

- Current and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Minimum two years post graduate experience
- Preferred oncology background/knowledge, training will be provided in Radiation Oncology nursing
- Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to demonstrate empathy for patients and their carers
- Demonstrated clinical and problem-solving skills, with commitment to continuing professional development
