Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Product Proposition Manager to join our commercial team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering end-to-end ownership of fund financial and growth performance, including owning the profit and loss statement, monitoring revenue and managing overall cost of product.

The Product Proposition Manager will also be responsible for collaborating closely with the Chief Investment Officer (CIO), senior leadership, and investment teams to align product offerings with the fund's investment strategy. Additionally, they will review, monitor and enhance the insurance offer as part of the fund's overall offering to market.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in the financial services industry, with a strong background in product management, particularly in superannuation, investment or related fields. They will also have a proven track record of leading product development initiatives in the superannuation or investment sector, with experience in designing and managing complex financial products.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in finance, economics or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in the financial services industry, with a strong background in product management, particularly in superannuation, investment or related fields.
  • A proven track record of leading product development initiatives in the superannuation or investment sector, with experience in designing and managing complex financial products.
  • In-depth knowledge of superannuation legislative framework and regulations, investment management practices and industry trends.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate complex regulatory and financial landscapes.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive alignment across diverse groups.
  • Experience with financial modelling, product pricing and performance analytics.
  • Proficiency in using data analytics tools to inform product development and decision-making.
