Job Title: Payroll Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team at the Parliament of Australia. As a key member of our Finance Branch, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our payroll systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver the fortnightly pay run process, including offline payments.
  • Maintain post-pay run processing, including remittance for superannuation and taxation.
  • Single Touch Payroll, SuperStream, EOM, and EOFY reconciliation and processing.
  • Configuration of superannuation fund codes and custom schedules.
  • Provide 2nd-level support of the HRIS applications.
  • Maintenance of the HRIS, user acceptance testing, and improvement in functionality.
  • Develop innovative approaches and creative ideas to support system and process re-design and transformation.
Requirements:
  • Experience in communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders on payroll-related matters.
  • Experience in undertaking high-level analytical and problem-solving work with a moderate level of complexity and sensitivity.
  • Proven ability to contribute to a positive work culture.
  • Experience in HRIS Systems, including SAP, SuccessFactors, and/or UKG (Kronos), highly desirable in a Payroll Systems Support role.
  • Experience with SAP is highly desirable.
  • The successful applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting 1 (Confidential/Highly Protected/Secret) security clearance.

Salary:

The salary range for this position is $94,259 - $105,941 per annum.
