Job Description

PHE Group is seeking an Electrical Supervisor with underground mining experience.

The role supports the Superintendent and project team to deliver on time and maintain reputation with clients.

  • Undertake project-specific tasks as directed by the Superintendent.
  • Lead a team of Leading Hands and Electricians.
  • Lead by example for safety on site.
  • Report task status including forecast outcomes related to time, cost, scope and quality when required.
  • Maintain records of work-in-progress and communications in line with the project management methodology.
  • Participate in and inform project planning and auditing activities.

About You

Key qualifications include:

  • A great attitude and ability to problem solve.
  • Excellent leadership skills in safety.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a Supervisory role.
  • Previous underground mining experience.
  • Mining Supervisor (G1,G8,G9) desirable but not essential.
  • Microsoft Office 365 applications including Teams, Excel.
  • Experience in use and interpretation of Project Scheduling software (MS Project or Primavera).
  • Quality Management experience.
  • Budget management experience.
Requirements
  • Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech.
  • SA Electrical License.
  • High-risk work License (with WP class) desirable but not essential.
  • Working at Heights (Completed in the last 16 months) desirable but not essential.
  • Current CPR/LVR (within the last 9 months).
  • Current Unrestricted C Class Driver's License.
  • White / Blue Construction Card.
