Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team at Healthscope.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, assessing, implementing, and evaluating clinical care in collaboration with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with the allied health team, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  • Patient Education and Support: Provide education and support to patients and their caregivers to promote effective management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, and discharge plans.
  • Treatment Programs: Conduct individual and group therapy programs to help patients achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Professional Development: Commit to ongoing learning and professional development to ensure case mix requirements are met and registration requirements are fulfilled.
Requirements
  • Registration: Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency is essential.
  • Clinical Experience: A minimum of 2-5 years post-graduate experience in generalist clinical settings, preferably in hospital-based rehabilitation environments.
  • Specialized Skills: Experience with Lymphoedema, UL Therapy, amputation, and other related areas is highly desirable.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team is critical.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to a varied caseload and implement group and individual programs is required.
Compensation and Benefits

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum depending on experience.
