Role Overview


The Suncorp Group is seeking a skilled Clinical Rehabilitation Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the Injury Management Team, you will play a vital role in providing expert advice and support to injured individuals, ensuring they receive timely and effective treatment.



About the Role

  • Work closely with the claims team leader and technical advisor to create a high-performing team that delivers positive outcomes for injured people and drives business growth.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to claims advisors, interpreting medical reports, offering injury management advice, and determining rehabilitation and treatment requirements.
  • Prepare professional written and verbal advice to claims advisors on reasonable and appropriate treatment and rehabilitation services, and recommendations for future rehabilitation management.
  • Share knowledge, coach, and mentor claims advisors to develop independent injury management capabilities.
  • Build external relationships with best-in-class treatment and service providers to assist injured people in meeting their recovery goals.
  • Support the injury management team leader in identifying development opportunities and trends to improve individual and team performance and claim outcomes.


About You

  • A degree in an Allied Health-related discipline is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 2 years' clinical experience and/or occupational rehabilitation experience is desirable.
  • You have the ability to independently prioritize your work and effectively use technology platforms to manage your caseload.
  • You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to make effective decisions in a timely manner and in line with delegated authority.
  • You are willing to develop skills to manage difficult conversations with injured people, external health professionals, and legal professionals.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as flexible work arrangements, career development opportunities, and a diverse and inclusive work environment.
