$70,000 - $90,000 per annum

Job Description

As a Clinical Rehabilitation Specialist at WorkFocus NSW, you will play a crucial role in helping clients regain their independence and achieve their goals in life and work. You will undertake assessments relevant to your discipline, develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans, and design and implement intervention programs using occupation to improve functional performance, independence, and work capacity.

You will also identify barriers and design, implement, and monitor programs that support people to achieve maximal work participation, understanding various healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes and empowering clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals.

Liaising with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers, and stakeholders is an essential part of this role, requiring strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Australian recognised degree qualification in Psychology and AHPRA accreditation or qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling and professional registration with ASORC
  • Willingness to learn and impact positively on people's lives in tangible ways
  • The ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey
  • A commitment to a high level of customer service to your clients and customers
  • Willingness to work in the community (must have a driver's licence and access to own vehicle)
  • Current or able to get a Working with Children Check and Police Clearance
