Learning and Development Coordinator

This role is focused on supporting the planning, coordination, and implementation of our learning framework. We are looking for someone to enhance the competencies and skills of employees across the group by working closely with training providers to ensure that learning activities meet our objectives.

The successful candidate will be based at our Training Institute in Derrimut and involve regular travel to metropolitan and regional dealerships. The role involves coordinating training sessions, workshops, and other development activities, managing logistics, and creating and maintaining training materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate training sessions, workshops, and other development activities.
  • Manage logistics such as booking venues, arranging equipment, and coordinating with trainers or facilitators.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of training materials, presentations, and online resources.
  • Support the delivery of training programs, including virtual and in-person sessions.
  • Communicate with employees about upcoming training opportunities and respond to related inquiries.
  • Maintain an inventory of training resources, including training manuals, e-learning modules, and video content.
  • Ensure that training materials are up-to-date and accessible.
  • Support the implementation of L&D pathway strategies and initiatives that align with business goals.
  • Gather feedback from participants to assess the effectiveness of training programs.

Requirements:

  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • A can-do, proactive approach with a focus on quality execution and outcomes.
  • Excellent relationship building skills and comfort engaging with a range of stakeholders.
  • Strong written communication skills, organisational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a complex, changing environment.
  • Sound skills in Excel and reporting systems.
  • Cert IV in Training & Assessment (preferred, but not essential).
