Job Title

The Distribution Centre Training Specialist will play a pivotal role in enhancing the capabilities of our team members.

This role requires delivering engaging orientation and induction programs to uplift individual and collective performance against business performance requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Innovative Training: Deliver training programs that develop the skills and abilities of team members, ensuring they meet performance standards and excel in their roles.
  • Capability Building: Support DC labour capability through comprehensive training and assessments to proactively manage skill gaps and training needs in collaboration with the DC Leadership and the Learning Manager.
  • Coaching: Uplift individual and collective performance by coaching team members to ensure adherence to standards.
  • Skill Development: Develop and implement training programs that enhance the skills and abilities of team members.
About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working within a DC/ Warehouse in a high volume, multi-brand, Retail or 3PL distribution/ logistics environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to train and coach individuals from diverse backgrounds, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.
  • Proven ability to effectively train and develop internal and labour hire staff, ensuring they meet performance standards and excel in their roles.
  • Proven experience in coordinating and delivering training programs.
  • Understanding of CoR – Current Legislation.
  • Demonstrated understanding of hazard identification/ incident management and investigation.
  • Holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
  • Exposure to a Manufacturing Excellence, Continuous Improvement or Six Sigma (Statistical Process Control) environment will be highly regarded.
