We are seeking an accomplished Remedial Engineer to spearhead our remedial engineering projects, drive project excellence, and lead a specialist team.

This is a leadership opportunity for a seasoned industry expert looking to build and scale a team, contribute to business strategy, and oversee contract administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a growing team of remedial engineers with autonomy to build and scale the team.
  • Drive strategic growth by contributing to business planning, team structure, and capability expansion.
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of remedial projects including structural and waterproofing rectification and dilapidation assessments.
  • Oversee contract administration and act as Superintendent during repair works.
  • Engage confidently with clients, consultants, and contractors delivering high-quality outcomes that reflect your technical expertise.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in collaboration with the leadership team.

Requirements:

  • 13+ years of experience in remedial and structural engineering with a strong background in consultancy.
  • Eligible or registered Design Practitioner under NSW DBP legislation.
  • CPEng and NER credentials (or actively working towards them).
  • Proven leadership in diagnostic investigation, reporting, scoping, and remedial design.
  • Skilled in managing end-to-end project delivery including financial oversight and contract admin.
  • Experienced in leading teams, mentoring staff, and developing technical capability.
  • Commercially minded with business development acumen and P&L management experience (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Permanent residency or Australian citizenship required.
