Greenwood Consulting Engineers is a boutique engineering consulting firm specializing in structural design and documentation for residential new builds, additions, and alterations. We collaborate closely with architects, builders, and clients from the early concept design phase through to construction certification and project completion. Our services cover the Northern Beaches, Upper and Lower North Shore, Inner West, and Central Coast.
Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Remedial Engineer located in Sydney, NSW. The Remedial Engineer will be responsible for assessing structural integrity, developing repair strategies, preparing detailed reports, and collaborating with the design team. Day-to-day tasks include conducting site inspections, performing structural analysis, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Assess structural integrity and develop repair strategies
- Prepare detailed technical reports and repair plans
- Conduct site inspections and coordinate with contractors
- Perform structural analysis and ensure compliance with building codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with the design team and communicate findings effectively
- Experience in structural analysis, assessment, and detailing

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a plus
