Sales Account Manager for Flooring Contractors

As a seasoned Sales Account Manager at Vendito, you will have the opportunity to excel in a dynamic business environment where strong relationships with clients and potential clients are key to driving profitable sales.
The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining effective partnerships with flooring contractors, leveraging their expertise to identify opportunities for new accounts and negotiate mutually beneficial agreements.
With a focus on achieving gross profit incomes to budget levels, this role requires exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment.
In exchange for your hard work and dedication, you can expect a competitive salary package, starting at $113,000 per annum, plus a car allowance of $22,000 and an annual bonus of up to $20,000. Located in Melbourne, this role offers extensive local, interstate, and overnight travel opportunities, as well as regular face-to-face interactions with industry professionals and customers.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A proven track record of sales experience in a business-to-business environment, with a stable employment background.
- Industry or associated industry knowledge, preferably in the building materials sector.
- An understanding of financial aspects of the business, including costs, profits, and markets.
In addition to your technical skills and knowledge, you should be able to demonstrate adaptability, enthusiasm, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
