About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Control Room Operator to join our team at our Broadmeadows or Melbourne site. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring security systems, communicating with emergency services, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents, including CCTV cameras, access control systems, and alarms.
  • Communicate with emergency services and internal stakeholders to ensure effective response.
  • Maintain accurate security incident reports, data logs, and visitor logs.
  • Assess and respond to situations of risk, adhering to standard operating procedures.
  • Manage the deployment of security personnel.
Requirements
  • Control Room Experience - Essential
  • Strong administrative skills, computer competency, and excellent email etiquette.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and experience with Fire-Panels - Desirable
  • Valid Driver's licence with transport
  • Knowledge across Gallagher, Avigilon, Genetec, Ascom, and Passagepoint applications - Highly regarded
Key Certifications
  • Current Security Licence with Control Room Certification endorsement
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certification
  • ASIC clearance - Desirable
