We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as an Assistant Centre Manager. As a key member of the Leadership Team, you will play a vital role in creating exceptional cultures of quality and safety within our centres.
In this dynamic and challenging position, you will be responsible for guiding and nurturing our dedicated teams to deliver best practice programs that make a real difference in the lives of children and families. You will work closely with the Centre Manager and Leadership Team to drive business growth and improve centre performance.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with families, staff, and stakeholders. They will have a proven track record of success in a senior or leadership role within a long day-care centre, with a strong understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
To succeed in this role, you will need to be a strategic thinker with a passion for delivering exceptional outcomes. You will be required to maintain a safe and secure environment for children, while also ensuring that they receive high-quality education and care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Centre Operations: Assist the Centre Manager in creating and implementing operational strategies that meet the needs of the centre and its stakeholders.
- Leadership and Development: Mentor and coach team members to achieve their full potential, and contribute to the development of the Leadership Team.
- Quality and Safety: Ensure that the centre meets all regulatory requirements, and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children and staff.
- Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with families, staff, and stakeholders through effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
Requirements:
- A completed Diploma in Children's Services and/or Bachelor of Education (or working towards it).
- Prior experience in a senior or leadership role within a long day-care centre.
- Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Current First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates, as well as a valid Working with Children check.
