
Child Development Specialist

This is a unique opportunity to work with children, helping them achieve their development milestones in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Job DescriptionYou will be responsible for assisting children with everyday tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding themselves. You will also educate and involve parents, carers and others to facilitate the development and learning of children.
In addition, you will assist children with developmental delays to maintain positive behaviors in all environments.
Requirements- A degree in Occupational Therapy is essential.
- Eligibility for registration with the relevant professional body upon graduating is required.
- Graduates within the last 12 months or those graduating in 2025 are encouraged to apply.
- A valid driver's license with access to a vehicle is necessary.
- A Working with Children Check and current Police Check are required.
- NDIS Workers Screening Clearance is also necessary.
- First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.
- Excellent communication and time management skills, along with attention to detail, are essential.
- A collaborative service model that allows for ample time to focus on client-related activities.
- Over 100 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) per year, including monthly in-house training and daily team collaboration time.
