
Quality Medical Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our National Quality team as a part time Quality Reviewer.
This role requires an individual with excellent time management and organisational skills, who is able to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high quality medical opinions.
The Quality Reviewer will be responsible for reviewing specialist medical reports to ensure accuracy, completeness and clarity, and will work closely with peers, client services operations, customers and consultants to achieve this goal.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing specialist medical reports to deliver high quality, timely and independent medical opinions
- Working closely with colleagues, clients and stakeholders to ensure accurate and complete reports
- Ensuring legislative and customer compliance requirements are met prior to report release
- Troubleshooting and escalating inaccurate, deficient or incomplete reports
- Contributing to and engaging positively with report quality and process changes and enhancements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in personal injuries insurance, clinical practice, allied health or other Quality Assurance roles
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Word and ability to learn Practice Manager Operating Systems
- Strong ability to read, interpret and make critical judgement calls
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage high report volumes
- Ability to balance quality, speed and accuracy
