About the Role

Band 5 - salary range $104,284 - $147,238 per annum (plus super) is available for this experienced role. Salary will be negotiable for the preferred candidate.

TasNetworks, a leading Tasmanian utility organisation, is seeking an individual who can thrive in a changing environment and play a pivotal role in our Regulation Team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the pricing of our regulated networks and manage auditors
  • Engage stakeholders on expected changes and develop the pricing strategy
  • Participate in forums providing expert advice to inform strategy

This role requires modelling and quantitative analysis to support advice and continued development of our pricing analytical capability. Consideration for impacts of regulatory requirements, risk, and commercial feasibility is key.

About You

We are looking for someone with commercial acumen to understand and apply the dynamics of the Australian Energy Industry and National Electricity Market.

You will be quantitative in style, with significant experience and knowledge in solving business issues. Problem-solving and analysis skills are essential, along with strong stakeholder management abilities.

Working effectively within the pricing team, you will lead tasks and projects as requested and demonstrate the ability to work autonomously on complex issues and provide timely expert advice.

Relevant tertiary qualifications that include a numerical/analytical component (e.g., commerce, economics, engineering) are required.
