About Us
Melbourne Water is a leading organization in water management and delivery, serving over five million residents and wildlife in Melbourne.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Program Manager to lead our SCADA engineering team, providing daily technical and people leadership, as well as supporting existing and new systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership to the SCADA engineering team
- Support the existing MOSAIC SCADA environment and a new SCADA System platform
- Develop, implement, and manage new team workflow processes for the SCADA Development team
- Coordinate, oversee, and guide a blended team of staff and contract engineers delivering SCADA Engineering Services
- Offer hands-on coaching, mentoring, and strong people leadership
About You
- Experience leading a team of technical individuals with excellent communications skills
- Demonstrated ability to understand, interpret, develop, implement, and explain Industrial Control Systems
- Demonstrated expertise in design and construction projects, including commissioning, change management, verification, and validation
Preferred Experience
- Development experience in leading industrial SCADA environments
- Management coordination of project workflows and project delivery queues
- Thorough understanding of alarm management, telemetry systems, HMI design, and AVEVA PI Historian
