Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Professional to lead our environmental team and provide expert guidance on major infrastructure projects.

This role will involve working with various stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and consultants, to ensure compliance with environmental management standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary environmental representative on projects, providing advice on environmental assessment and management requirements.
  • Manage external consultants and specialists as required, leading project environmental assessments and audits.
  • Foster effective relationships with stakeholders and agencies concerned with environmental issues associated with projects.
  • Lead audits of environmental compliance and provide advice on environmental impacts associated with projects.
  • Support implementation and monitoring of our Department's Environmental Management System and Practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in environmental management and compliance.
  • Expertise in environmental impact assessment and auditing.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
