Territory Manager Job Opportunity

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Territory Manager to join our team. As a Territory Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with a portfolio of customers within a designated territory, identifying and developing growth opportunities and commercializing new business wins.

You will be responsible for maintaining customer stakeholder perception of value and confidence in BOC as a solutions provider. This includes increasing portfolio profitability through price management, increased zone density, and profitable use of product substitution. You will also generate and convert leads by identifying customer business growth opportunities to grow zone cylinder holdings and/or volume density.

Maintaining an active pipeline of opportunities with complete information and interactions is essential in this role. You will need to understand, monitor, and report on competitor activity and market trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the professional, knowledgeable, reliable & trusted sales contact for customer stakeholders.
  • Manage a portfolio of customers within the territory.
  • Identify, develop and commercialize growth opportunities within existing customer accounts.
  • Use provided sales tools to support the account management process.
  • Increase portfolio profitability through price management, increased zone density and profitable use of product substitution.
  • Generate and convert leads by identifying customer business growth opportunities to grow zone cylinder holdings and/or volume density.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities with complete information and interactions.
  • Commercialize new business wins consistent with agreed terms.
  • Understand, monitor and report on competitor activity and market trends.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong selling (business development) and negotiation skills.
  • Judgement to challenge customer paradigms when appropriate.
  • Commercial and business awareness.
  • Strong understanding of price management (grow margin, pricing and profit).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrates initiative and results-focused mindset.
