Patient Care Specialist

Mount Hospital seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Scrub Scout team.
This role requires strong interpersonal and customer service skills, as well as a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish positive relationships with patients, families, staff and VMOs from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- Provide exceptional customer service and person-centred evidence-based care.
- Supervise and precept Enrolled Nurses, graduates and students and AINs/PSAs.
- Work collaboratively within an inter-disciplinary team and manage own work time and personal well-being.
- Lead quality improvement and safety management projects to deliver desired outcomes.
- Participate in clinical and compliance auditing.
- AHPRA registration (essential).
- Previous experience in Orthopaedics / Neurosurgery (essential).
- Exceptional clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures and patient management in the perioperative complex.
- Collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
- Integration of quality and risk management into daily activities.
