As a Project Administrator, you will provide critical support to the Minor Vessels Capability Lifecycle Manager team. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating meetings and managing the project diary to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Processing invoices and ensuring timely payment to suppliers.
  • Developing and maintaining project data repositories to align with the Sustainment Services Data Management System and contractual requirements.
  • Controlling and recording formal deliveries of project documents to relevant stakeholders.
  • Acting as the Site Security Officer.
  • Assisting in the development of data management plans that meet program data management and approval requirements.
  • Creating and maintaining project registers for formal correspondence, action items, and meeting reports.
  • Coordinating the cyclic annual review and update of Project Management System procedures.
  • Compiling reports and briefing packs, and constructing simple databases, spreadsheets, diagrams, and PowerPoint presentations as required.
  • Traveling within Australia may be required to fulfill the requirements of this role.

  • A minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience.
  • A broad knowledge of operational systems, including SharePoint, and practices gained through extensive experience and/or education.
  • Demonstrated experience in a coordinating role within a project-driven, Defence-oriented environment.
  • The ability to gain and maintain an NV1 Clearance.
