About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer - Dams to join our team in Australia and New Zealand. As a key member of our Dams group, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality structural design and analysis services for dams and related infrastructure projects.

With a strong background in civil or structural engineering, you will have a proven track record of working on complex dam projects, including design, construction, and maintenance. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the safety and integrity of our dams, as well as meeting the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct structural analysis and review of concrete dams, spillways, and appurtenant structures
  • Develop conceptual to detailed designs for dams and structural components
  • Perform inspections, investigations, and condition assessments of existing dams
  • Provide construction support services, including inspection of works and evaluation of quality control and quality assurance data
  • Prepare tenders and proposals, and provide mentoring and guidance to junior team members
Requirements
  • Demonstrated expertise in structural design, including preparation of design reports, drawings, and specifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders, clients, and industry partners
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients and industry partners
  • Relevant degree in civil or structural engineering or a related field
